Cela se passe au Syndicat d'Initiative de Mondorf-les-Bains. Le vernissage est le 1er avril 2014 de 19h à 21h ( et je vous assure que ce n'est pas un poisson! Terrible, cette date!) J'y expose donc une seule œuvre, la peinture que j'ai faite du Casino de Mondorf ( c'est une de mes plus anciennes peintures). La mise aux enchère des œuvres se fera le 11 avril à 19h30 au Syndicat d'Initiative de Mondorf-les-Bains aussi. Y exposent tous les artistes qui ont déjà exposé dans la galerie du Syndicat d'Initative mentionné dans cet article.
There is an auction of paintings (the money of which will be donated to the Télévie) exhibited at the Syndicat d'Initiative of Mondorf -les-Bains on April 11th, 2014 of the artists who exhibited up to now at the Syndicat, so you will meet plenty of artists if you can make it. The painting Preview is on April 1st, 2014 and it is not an April Fool.
Un grand merci à la personne privée qui m'a acheté mon tableau du Casino de Mondorf au profit du Télévie. Il faut dire que j'ai peint ce tableau au moment où la nouvelle zone commerciale de Mondorf était en train d'être construite. Les grues ont fait polémique. Madame la Bourgmestre de l'époque, Maggie Nagel, avait été critiquée pour ses choix. Avec beaucoup d'humour, elle a dit: "Vous voyez qu'on peut peindre des grues". Je pense que franchement, tout le monde est content de cette nouvelle zone dynamique à Mondorf-les-Bains. Et la mairie y a été nouvellement construite.
A great thank you to the person who bought this painting the profits of which were given to Télévie. This painting was made at the time when Maggie Nagel was the Mayor of Munneref and she was criticised for the cranes. Yet I believe everybody is glad to have a nice modern shopping centre and town hall here now.
The main aim of Télévie is to raise funds to finance research to make progress the knowledge in the fight against leukemia and cancers as much for children as for adults.
Les tableaux qui n'auront pas été vendus ce soir-là au profit du Télévie seront remis aux enchères au profit d'une autre association en automne. Je dis bravo et merci au Syndicat d'Initiative de Mondorf pour son engagement envers les artistes et pour son grand accueil!
The paintings that have not been sold this time will be sold for the benefit of another association in autumn. I thank the Tourist Information Office for its commitment towars artists and for its warm welcome.
