Voilà, un de
mes rêves, c’est que des gens fassent des tissus avec mes peintures en motifs (contactez-moi sur Facebook si vous êtes intéressés).
One
of my dreams is that people make cloth with pictures of my paintings or my
patterns if you prefer on the cloth (contact me via Facebook if you're interested).
En
attendant, je fais coller des transferts sur mes pantalons. Je rajouterai d’autres photos d’autres
pantalons avec d’autres transferts quand j’en aurai fait d’autres. Je pourrais lancer la mode, comme ça.
In
the meantime, I have pictures of my paintings transfered to pairs of jeans. I’ve started with one pair of jeans and I
will make more and show them to you later on by adding them to this
message. It could become fashionable.
L’idée au
départ pour les tissus était de Blandine.
Elle m’a dit un jour avant d’aller au Canada :
« Nadine,
je verrais bien tes peintures sur des tissus ». J’étais très surprise par sa remarque à
l’époque.
It
is one of my friends, Blandine, who first had this idea. She once told me that she could see my
paintings on cloth, before she left Luxembourg for Canada. Her idea came as a surprise to me at the
time. I had not thought about it.
Il y a peu
de temps, j’en ai parlé à une dame, vendeuse de vêtements dans un magasin de
vêtements au nom d’une épice et d’un fruit dans la galerie marchande du Centre
Commercial français du Kirchberg. Elle
m’a dit : « Mais pourquoi vous n’emmèneriez pas une photo d’une de
vos peinture à une imprimerie avec le vêtement sur lequel vous aimeriez le
dessin de votre peinture et ils vous l’imprimeraient sur le vêtement, un jeans
par exemple ».
Not
long ago, I spoke about it all to a saleslady in a shop with a name of a spice
and of a fruit in the French mall in Kirchberg.
She told me : « but why don’t you go to a printer’s to have it
fixed ? Just bring a pair of jeans
and they can transfer the picture on it for you ».
Ensuite, en
discutant avec Edgar Kohn (un ami artiste luxembourgeois, vous le connaissez),
il m’a donné l’idée d’aller à Mister Copy.
Voilà, c’est fait.
I
wondered to which printer to go to and my friend Edgar Kohn whom you’ve heard
of before gave me the idea of Mister Copy.
I did go there and here is the result.
À vous de

petit, je m’approche de mon rêve.
My
dream is slowly becoming true.
Un autre de
mes rêves serait de faire des serviettes en papier avec mes motifs…
Another
of my dreams would be to have paper serviettes with pictures of my paintings
printed on them.
